How to get your iPhone's IMEI number
Knowing your iPhone's IMEI number is essential if you want to block your phone if it has been lost or stolen. You can simply give this number to your network operator and they will be able to stop your iPhone from being used within 48 hours – even with another SIM – thus keeping any sensitive data/information stored on your iPhone safe. Here's how to find your iPhone's IMEI number
If you still have your iPhone, then it's a good idea to keep your iPhone's IMEI number safe on file somewhere. Here's how you can find it
Look on the back of your iPhone and it will be displayed at the bottom. It's as easy as this if you still have your iPhone.
If you have a case on your iPhone and don't want to take it off, then there is another easy way to find it. Simply go to your iPhone's dialler and enter *#06#, after you've done this you're iPhone's IMEI number will be displayed across the centre of the iPhone.

How to find a lost or stolen iPhone's IMEI number
If you have lost your iPhone or it has been stolen and you want to block it to keep any data that was stored on it safe, you may be required to give your iPhone's IMEI number to your network operator.
If this is the case all you need to do is find your iPhone's original box and its IMEI number will be printed on the back of it. Simply write this down and relay the number to your network provider.
