Destiny 2 is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2017, aiming to follow on from the success of the original Destiny game that was released in September 2014. While Bungie has promised dramatic improvements to the game, we’re yet to see any actual gameplay – although that’s about to change. Bungie is to host a live stream this evening where it’ll reveal Destiny 2 gameplay, and here’s how you can watch it.

When does the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal begin?

As announced by Bungie on the official Destiny Facebook page last week, the company will be hosting a live stream tonight, 18 May 2017 at 6pm BST for those of us in the UK.

The live stream will provide eager Destiny fans with an opportunity to witness gameplay from the highly-anticipated Destiny 2 for the first time, ahead of its release later this year.

How can I watch the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal live?

Of course, the biggest question is “How can I watch the Destiny 2 live stream?”. The answer? Via the Destiny website, according to Bungie. While there’s no active video player at the time of writing, a live stream should appear on the homepage of the website closer to 6pm BST.

However, it’s not the only option available for long-time Destiny fans. Along with broadcasting the live stream via the Destiny website, Bungie will also be broadcasting the live stream via the official Bungie Twitch page – you can even set a reminder on the site to notify you when it goes live. Along with Twitch, the stream will also be available via YouTube, too

To make your life even easier, we’ve embedded the YouTube player above, so simply head back here at 6pm BST tonight to watch the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal live.

What can I expect from Destiny 2?

While details are still light on the ground, Activision has reassured fans of the series that Destiny 2 will feature a “great cast of memorable, relatable characters” along with a “cinematic storyline”. A story teaser confirmed that the game’s story will take place following a Cabal attack on the Citadel, and even provided us with the name of the leader of the Cabal: Ghaul.

Not much else is known beyond that, although we imagine that Bungie will reveal more details about the game and storyline during the Destiny 2 live stream.
