This page exists because Google tells us lots of people search on the subject of how to download iOS 7. How to download iOS 7 now
Maybe you can't wait till then and want to download iOS 7 now. The answer to the question how to download iOS 7 now is also quite simple. You become a software developer, join Apple's Developer Program, then download the current beta version of iOS 7 from its website. Take a look at OS X Mavericks release date and new features too.
You can find Apple's developer website here: https://developer.apple.com
Membership is £60 per year, and note that you will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement. This means you cannot discuss any pre-release software with anyone outside Apple not already enrolled in the same developer program.
There is still plenty of opportunity to discuss pre-release Apple software, among other developers in Apple's closed forums. See also: Please enjoy the iOS 7 beta responsibly
Update: we've also heard uncorroborated rumours first reported by Mark Gurman at 9to5 Mac, that Apple is also letting its retail staff getting an early hands-on trial with both OS X 10.9 and iOS 7. See: Apple seeds first OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 beta to developers, Retai
Instructions how to download and install iOS 7 are provided to registered Apple iOS developers. We aren't one, but would guess the beta version of the new iPhone OS is provided in the form of an .ipsw file of several hundred megabytes, for manual installation through iTunes.
For regular users the finished update will probably be offered for installation through iTunes on OS X or Windows, or as an over-the-air (OTA) software update.
