Can or does anyone to happen to know which say Belkin or Netgear USB Wirless adapter is compatible with Vista and works out of the box or with little fuss.

I read of applying downloaded patches but not seen a ready to run on vista one to day. Its for a ADSL connection

I would imagine most of the newer models will ok with Vista, however something for you to look at click here

Though im sure if you shop around locally, you will find a Netgear or Belkin adaptor.
I would say get one that is the same as the router make... ie: Netgear router = Netgear Wireless adaptor.

I'm using a Netgear WG111 USB adapter on my new PC with Vista Home Premium, and it runs without problems.

Did the Netgear WG111 install from CD ok or did you have to download a patch for this from Netgear.

If you follow this link click here it explains how I installed the drivers from the supplied CD.
