Wireless problems after XP installed

I have an old HP Pavilion DM4t-100 laptop that was running Ubuntu. I kept having wireless issues with Linux so I installed XP instead, but unfortunately the problems remain. My wireless adapter isn't showing up, but I can't find any drivers for the adapter for XP. Is there any way to make this work, or do I need to change the OS?

In light of what happened over the weekend I would recommend upgrading to a newer version of Windows anyway. All of the drivers are for windows 7 and so I would also recommend that as a potential fix for your issue when you can download the wireless driver for your adapter.
