Windows Vista Mail

I have a worrying problem, recently through my system becoming corrupt I did a Vista repair, and got my system working again with all my programs back in tack, accept my original windows mail folders and email messages. Have they gone for good or is there a way I might retrieve them.

Many Thanks in anticipation..

My operating software is Windows Vista Business version..

on the file menu in Windows mail?

You should be offered a file location.

Look in
C:\users\%your computer name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\ folder
for anything that might seem relevant and contain your emails, also look in the similar folder under any other user.

You will need to go to Tools/Folder Options/View/ and tick "Show Hidden Files and Folders. to see AppData files.
