Windows 10 fails to reboot after windows update

Hey, can someone help me I have decent knowledge of computers but I can't figure this one out.

When I update windows to 1607 he reboots at 26% but stays in standby mode. When I turn the PC back on he gives blue screen with inaccessible boot device. And goes back to standby mode. The third time it starts but all my peripherals (including my screen) are disconnected. The only way to stop this routine is disconnect the pc for couple seconds then it starts back up and restores a previous version of windows. I would like to have this solved because I notice some memory leakage in this windows version.

My Windows 10 education runs on my SSD

Things I tried:

Scanning with ESET virusscanner

Updating while Disconnecting all usb devices

Updating while Disconnecting my HDD

Updating drivers

Updating BIOS

I wanted to avoid a clean install. Maybe it fixes it but I'll keep that as last choice since I kinda have a lot of stuff on my SSD at the moment.
