My system restore on my PC running Windows 7 is not working, I get this error message- 'could not access a file, error ox80070005' whats going on and how do I fix it please?
This might give you some guidance.
Sometimes this quick fix works.
Go to help and support option in start menu - type in turn off system restore, follow those instructions. Shut down, boot up, then turn on System Restore.
You could try to do a system restore with the User Account control disabled.
When you are trying to do a system restore do you have any usb devices plugged in to your PC. If so remove them.
