What size ReadyBoost do you have?

What is an adequate size of USB drive for ReadyBoost?

Obviously, the more memory the better, but is 1GB enough for most purposes?

I've tried a slow 1GB and it doesn't seem to make a lot of difference over my 768MB of RAM.

Incidentally, make sure you get the fastest speed, e.g. the Crucial Gizmo writes at 80 times, which is faster than mine.

But to answer your question, 1GB should be sufficient.

I wonder whether the speed of the drive is more important than the size, and whether, for example, a 512 MB fast USB drive would work better than a slower 1 GB one.
