W7 installed on netbook

Just wondering if anyone has experiences of installing W7 on a net-book,good or bad?
I have an Acer Aspire One.

My HP netbook came with 1 Gb RAM and Windows 7 Starter which I tried for a few weeks and found it slow and limited so I upgraded to 2Gb (the maximum that it would take) and Windows 7 Home Premium and now I use it all the time in preference to my 17" Toahiba Laptop. The advantage for me is that it is so light and that the battery life is 8 hours plus, I feared the keyboard would be difficult to use but with practise I can now use it easily.

I was sceptical about using Win7 on my Eee PC (2gb ram) Netbook because the Win7 advisor software highlighted lack of compatability.
BUT I installed it anyway and I have had no problems at all. It works as well as my PC and Laptop.

drivers can be a problem. find your netbook on acers website. It will give you a list of drivers. Look and see if they provide ones for windows 7. If not. Run them ( right click and choose an older OS )
and it should work.
