Indeed and thanks but I think I'll wait for the Windows Update to kick in because as the Download Center remarks it will be a much smaller file.

8pm (ish) tonight for Windows Update but you will need a full version if/when you reinstall Vista.

Crikes its big isn't it. I may wait and let the dust settle a bit first. I think I'll download it as backup as BurrWalnut says, but use WU for now.

That should be from the Windows Update site and sounds about right. The full download from the download center is 434MB.
