Is there any info on how effective readyboost is - for example, what's the difference between a system with 1Gb of RAM, another with 1Gb of RAM + 1Gb flash drive or one with 2Gb of RAM?

I cannot find much info on the subject other than what jimmy14 put up

I've tried 768MB RAM with a 1GB flash drive and it didn't make much difference. I tried an old one so perhaps the new, faster drives would improve performance.

Crucial offer what they call a 'fast' Gizmo drive which sounds interesting.
