I know that the price in the UK is to be around £220 and over the pond its only £115(someone's making a great profit).

Question is I have a few friends over there who would gladly purchase it and send it to me,or failing that I'm of to Las Vegas in September and I may buy it then. back to the question Will the Amercan version work in the UK or not
any Ideas?.

Regards
Mike

The versions of windows don't seem to be made specific for any region. (On the English languague versions anyway) When I done my Vista install today, it asked for the regional settings (it defaulted to English US, I had to change it to UK) So I'm assuming based on that it doesn't matter where you buy it, and where you install it.
