Vista install

I have two hard drives on my machine. Can I install Vista on the smaller 80 gig and keep my xp pro and my programmes on the other, and will vista be able to axcess these and all the data. Presumably this will save me having to reinstall all.

Yes this would work perfectly. When you do this and you are on either XP pro or Vista, you can access both partitions files via computer (formerly my computer)

I did this on mine and it now calls the D drive C.

When I boot to XP it changes it rounds again ... worth remembering.

I believe you can only do this lodde if you buy the full version of windows vista, an upgrade disk wouldn't work.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong please someone (still confused about this myself,) according to the licence rules, it has to be a full retail version and not an OEM version of Vista.

Slithe yes according to the licence for OEM it has to be installed on a new computer, not one that already has an operating system on it.
