When I was using XP all "My Documents" I had in Alphabetical groups. Have tried to get the same A-Z Groups in Vista but get erything but. Is it possible to give me what I want has anyone done it ?
Right click on empty space in your docs and select sort by......ascending a,b,c...... or descending z,y,x,......
Thanks for the information Sinbads but it don;'t happen for me All I get is ascending and descending but What I want is each individual Letter of the Alphabet. Is that what you get.Perhaps the extra Hour Sleep has fuddled my Brain.
. . . in XP it's under View, Arrange Icons By, then tick the Show in Groups menu item.
Sorry Covergirl. I know how it is done in XP Used it some years. But it is not the same in Vista. Do it like sinbads said.
. . . and Group By - but they're now grouped in groups of letters - A-H, I-P etc. There's be a setting somewhere in the registry I bet . . .
