Unwanted Windows Live Messenger

When I boot up W7 Home Premium I always get the Windows Live Messenger log-in panel. How can I stop this?

start/control panal /programs and features, uninstall it..

It isn't, I have the same problem wishing to uninstall WLM. Not in programs and features!

Next idea please.

That's what I thought when I went to the uninstall list. What you have to do is to tell it to uninstall Windows Live Essentials. WLE includes various things including WLM and you are given the choice of which items to uninstall. You might see one or two other things there which you might like to dispose of - I did.
