I am running Windows 7 and have zipped a folder containing 125mb of pictures. When I try to send the folder as an atachment it tells me the file is too big. When I checked the size of the zipped folder it still shows it as 125mb. Have I done something wrong or do I have to send them in smaller batches. Any advice appreciated. Allan

If the pictures are in .jpg (jpeg) format then they are already compressed. therefoer yes you will need to send a few at a time.

Many ISP have a 1G limit are you sure its 125mb folder size?

Jpg files will not compress any more.

You can send the large file by using one of several large file sending services such as "Sendlargefiles" or try www.transferbigfiles.com

Of course you could always use HJ Split. It's very simple to use.

Frequently there is a limit as to the size of File that one can eMail. 10MB is a fairly common maximum.

Do remember that ones Upload Speed is regularly about 10% of your Download Speed
