Same problem every time windows updates

Happens every time as per title. After the restart I get a black screen with just a cursor and a small box top right which states desktop settings not responding Ctrl-Alt-Del and restart fixes it. Anyone got any ideas please. Very grateful for any help.

There are a couple of fixes for that problem shown from Google Click Here mostly they involve editing the registry. Take note of the comments about backing up the registry before making any changes.

Thanks, will have a look through the articles. Just a nuisance really. Can narrow it down to the last Windows 10 release, so perhaps the next one may fix it. Obviously it can't load the desktop until a second restart. Registry editing no problem.
