Apple have made their browser available for windows its still in beta and it needs a fair bit of work yet including mouse functions (why are Apple so rubbish with mice?) but I have always liked it on OSX what do you think will you be giving it a spin?

It looks pretty on Vista (I downloaded it last night) but there's no way I'd ditch Firefox for Safari. Indeed, I ditched Safari for Firefox on my Mac!

Just downloaded it to try - as it is supposed to be based on the same code as konqueror. Although I can't see much resemblance myself.

It passes the acid2 test I see - unlike most other browsers.

but it lacks some of the features that the other major browsers have, and it isn't always that good at rendering text.

Apple will work hard with the Windows version because glittering prizes await, and they'll get lost of feedback. The company has some world-class software developers, and I wouldn't write the Windows version of Safari off just yet.
