Renaming user account and user folder

During setup you are asked for your name, etc and this becomes your account name and the name of your user folder, e.g. Joe Bloggs & C:\Users\Joe Bloggs

However, ~I didn;t notice a typo and I went into control panel to rename my account and folder.

I changed my account nem ok, but my user folder still has the typo.

I tried logging int as local administrator to rename it, but it still doesn't work. also tried safe mode.

I'm using a HP laptop with Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

Does anyone have any idea how to change this without having to back everything up in the user folder and copy it into a new account, etc.

... I can't keep logging in as "Loe Bliggs", it's distracting! :-)

(note: the names have been changed to protect the identity of the thick idiot, namely me!)

I found an answer here:

but I would cut and paste your data into the new folder you createmfirst, then go to regedit as instructed.
