Programs not responding

Hello everyone,

I recently visited a music downloading website, which I will not name for obvious reasons, but since then, programs keep 'not responding.' I instantly thought I had been infected with a virus or malware so I did a full system scan with BullGuard and McAfee. However, only some cookies were to be found, which have now been deleted. The problem is still present. I do not know what else to do.

Before I had visted, everything was fine and fast, but programs keep freezing now.

Any help would be appreciated.

Scan with Spybot, A-Squared, MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, Ad-Aware and clean with CCleaner.
See if they find anything.

And then a system restore to before you visited the bad website.

Thanks all, I used Spybot to flush out 70 cookies, then deleted the two anti viruses; being left with just McAfee. My computer is back to being fast again!
