Problems with "Enter Network Password" window

Hi guys,

Just wondering whether anybody can suggest a solution to this...

I have PC with Windows Vista and I am using Outlook 2003. I have two POP3 email accounts that I use to send/receive mail. These have been working fine until last week when I now get a "Enter Network Password" window popping up when I send/receive mail. I haven't changed anything and i still get prompted each time even though i ask to save the password.

I've had a trawl around on the Web and there seem to be lots of variants of this problem ranging from deleting profiles to modifying corrupt Registry entries.

I'm tempted to backup Outlook Folders, delete email accounts and re-add and worst case even remove/re-install Outlook.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

I'm assuming System Restore won't be any use unless it's a corrupted Registry entry.

Thanks in advance. Mike

I had a similar issue and system restore does fix it. The other perhaps simpler way is to delete your email addys and redo them.

Thanks for your answer.
Will give both of those a try and keep you posted
