Problem Installing Vista - No error message

Hi guys any help would be appreciated, I'm upgrading from XP Media Centre to Vista ultimate 32 bit. The Vista installation carries out its installation until the very last section when it says that the installation failed an it restores the original OS. My PC details are below -

I've run the upgrade adviser and it says I can run VISTA.
It says it has no compatability info for Nvidia nforce networking controller or Integrated Digital Audio 7:1 (SoundMAX)

My PC details are as follows-

if it's an upgrade i would strongly advise a clean install. have you got all antivirus/ malware software disabled?

Yes all Malware etc is turned off. I've tried clean installing the 64bit version but this just didn't work whatsoever. I'll try clean installing the 32 bit to see if that helps.

No luck trying the 32bit clean install - I have no idea what is wrong as I have been given no error message.

Are you booting the pc from the vista disc.

Yep, When I try to boot from the disc it just shows the green vista background with no text and nothing else happens.

I Cannot see any problems with your pc details. Have a look at the disc and see if there any marks on it like scratches or fingerprints, if there is fingerprints on it try cleaning it with a soft cloth.
