Printing Cd's with the Epson "R" printer range

  jakimo 13:58 07 Dec 2007

The Print CD software is not compatible with Vista and there is no Vista upgrade option on the web,or any mention of printing Cd's with Vista.

Epson say that is because the CD printing software is third party, however Epson support will provide a Vista compatible disc for £10 incl.and can be found at 0870 44 377 66

I have a R340 and am using Vista Ultimate 64, and am using Nero Cover Designer, and also have Cyberlink LabelPrint, but of course you have to pay for them, another one to I have tried is Droppix Label Maker and like the others work great on Vista

Just tried the version I got with my printer EPSON Print CD V.1.40E on Vista Ultimate 64 and had NO problems I didn’t let the CD auto run, I right clicked it and opened it and found the English folder and then APPS folder & Then print CD folder & then doubled clicked the setup file and away I went, the CD says it’s Disc Vol.1.0E.

Thanks 1832bchs, I never even tried to get Print CD to work till now!
