Missing Wireless Settings

Hello, Sorry for the rooky question but am going mad! I have just purchased an ASUS desktop PC from PC world and am completely new to Windows 8. My WiFi doesn’t connect and I am trying to check the wireless settings. Under PC Settings my manual shows “Wireless” between “Devices and “Ease of Access”. Only it isn’t there! Where can it be?
