How can I release space on my 30Gb SSD Drive?

  Kanzel 15:34 24 Feb 2014

I have a ASUS i5 desktop with a 30Gb SSD hard drive and a 500Gb secondary Drive. I have tried installing most of my programs on the secondary drive but a few have insisted on installing on the primary drive. I now find that I have only 2.30Gb free and this is reported as 'red' when viewed in explorer. It has also slowed the computer somewhat. Is there some way I can free up some space? Perhaps moving the User directory?

Can you see what else is stored on the SSD?

Temp files, My Docs, that kind of thing.

Whereas 30 GB is on the small side it should be fairly easily managed, with the OS, an Office Suite and a little bit more
