Having trouble finding flight sims for Vista

  SadSack666 06:54 16 Apr 2008

Hi, Firstly I am computer challenged. I used to have XP I have just bought a new computer with Vista. I enjoy playing flight sims but it seems that most of the WW2 and Jet sims all run on anything up to XP is there a device or program that I can download so that I can use the XP games? C'mon give me a break I live in Australia we are about 10 yrs behind everyone else (Too busy throwin a shrimp on the Barbie?) Please Guys if anybody can lend a hand I would really appreciate it, Thanks,SadSack666.

You could try right click on the setup program on the XP CD , properties, and run in XP compatibility mode to set it up.

Flightsim X says it runs on vista click here

I can confirm that FlightsimX works fine on Vista.

Believe me,after spending many years in Sydney, you are deffinately not lagging behind the UK,ive lost track of things here that were new,and id been using them in Oz for years.

Just bear in mind that Vista takes up a huge amount of disk - also FSX takes up a huge amount too.
Just a light note - Tullie - how could you bear to come back to the UK?
