graphics and sound card problem!

  Narayan Adhikari 19:07 14 Apr 2007

My Vista PC occasionally dies with blue screen error caused by sound driver(SIS 7018) and display driver(SIS 630/730). I actually have installed XP drivers on those as vista couldn't install their drivers. I tried to find vista drivers but couldn't get a clue. I also tried disabling hardware acceleration as recommended by vista but didn't help. Any luck?
I would be grateful for any suggestions.

the xp drivers are what are causing the bsod. if the display and sound are integrated then buying a vista certified sound card may fix that. for the graphics just get a cheap card like the xfx geforce 6200. it is wddm so you can plug and play. with no bsod's
