Getting my D: partition back

  redsparrow 17:32 05 Feb 2008

I have a new laptop with vista installed on it.

I have 250gb hard drive which originally showed C: and D: partition in the "computer" window

But now in "computer" the D: partition is missing.

In computer management/disk management it is still showing C: 111.69 gb ntfs 55% free and D: 108.19gb 99% free plus 3 other partitions at 9.76gb, 3.24gb and 512 mb

How do i get the D: to show in the computer window again ??

Tks Mark

Sorry for not posting remedy.

Quite simple really. I went into computer management / disk management, right clicked on the partition that should have been D and select change drive letter and paths. Then i clicked on add, highlight the Assign the following drive letter button and selected D. Problem solved. Guess something had happened within vista to cause the D partition to be dropped.
