Getting flash player for vista

  student86 18:06 16 Feb 2007

I'm trying to watch videos on youtube but i can't install adobe flash player on either internet explorer or firefox. I'm not sure if vista and firefox are compatible. I go to the adobe website, i click on the download link a new page opens and then nothing happens. There's no dialogue box asking me to install the program...then i.m told that the latest version of the flash player has been installed. What to do?

For some reason Flashplayer sometimes has to be uninstalled using Adobes own uninstaller before it can be reinstalled correctly.

I'm using Flashplayer in Vista so it is compatible.

I had the same problem uninstall, using the link above; Internet explorer will close down, go back to and install it again.

That worked for me.
