Dual boot vista ult and XP

  woody 11:55 11 Mar 2007

Some mths ago i tried to load Vista and failed.
Now i have time to try again.
The PC has two HD's - master/slave with XP on the master. No matter what i try (short of reformatting the lot)i can not load Vista.
Then i "remove" the master - make the slave master - and i can load Vista.
Put the system back as it was Xp on master and now Vista on slave - how do i dual boot?

The way I did it was to have both drives set to master. Xp has to be installed first.

Install vista on second drive it will install boot record on xp drive.

When you boot it will show vist or previous windows select which o/s you want.
