Dual Boot Query

Hi, was wondering if someone could clarify something for me.

I currently have a PC running Windows XP, but am thinking of giving Vista a go. Have run the upgrade advisor and everything seems ok. I currently have XP on one drive C: (with a 500MB restore partition D:) and a virtually empty 120GB drive E:.

I am thinking of installing Vista onto E, which is 119GB free, and so has plenty of space, with the aim of doing a dual boot system with XP, until the bugs are ironed out of the system.

Some quick questions about this: -

1) Can I do this with an 'upgrade' DVD or must it be a full version?
2) Is it just a matter of installing Vista onto the second hard-drive and letting Windows do all the work? Or is there something I need to do first?

Many thanks for all the advice/help

1) full version

2) Vista will do all the work, you just have to pick the "E" drive to load vista on.

After the install, you should have the option to boot into either system, as the computer starts.
