I use a USB programmer for burning hex files to my microcontrollers. The programmer was installed properly on XP but from when I have switched over to VISTA I am unable to install the device due to driver incompatibility. I am pasting the driver file which worked on XP, can anyone please modify it, so tht it works on VISTA Home Premium(32bit) ??

I did think of tht...but since it is an *.inf file ...when I right click & goto properties there is no such option for changing the compatibility... I think its only for *.exe files

A while back now,i tinkered with a driver script (Splitting the script) and ended up in all sorts of a mess,it was fun but over my head really....i never really knew what i was doing.

Though Vista has its driver issues, can you give us more info...this would help in the research.
