I have just set up Outlook on my new computer. Previously all new messages from my various accounts appeared in the one Inbox. Now each account has a separate folder. When deleting a message it just gets a line through it and stays in the Inbox! How can I get all new messages in the one Inbox and how do I get deleted messages into the deleted folder? Thanks Brian

It sounds like that you have set up each account as imap. You will get a separate folder for each account and deleting messages results in a line through them and they don't go to deleted folder. To completely delete them then you have to purge the account (under Edit in Outlook 2007). But they are then completely deleted including from the server and every device that accesses the account.
