Does anyone other than Microsoft itself know if or when the CPP is going to open up again? I am beginning to feel like MS doesn't want any more folk testing its new OS. I wish I had got in early and downloaded the first public Beta release, but I had no idea that there would be a time limit on it, so I didn't rush. Why all the hoop-jumping?

Thanks for the link, but I have already tried that route. It's not allowing me to sign up or download anything.

Can you neither download nor order the DVD?

  BurrWalnut 16:05 19 Sep 2006

I've just tried it, it needs a passport or hotmail address.

Nope. Thanks anyway.

I call them and see if I can get a CD and license key.

I called in a small favour from someone I know who works for MS at Reading; she's getting a DVD copy for me.

because according to the Microsoft press Office in Reading they're still waiting for the DVDs to arrive from Ireland.
