Blue Screen When Trying To Virus Scan

  SebBux 13:35 20 Mar 2014

I'm trying to perform a full scan using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Malwarebytes will scan for around 50 minutes then stops. Blue Screen appears followed by the "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown box"

I cannot get Malwarebytes to do a complete scan.

Please, can anyone advise.

Cant help but you do realise that malwarebytes is a malware scanner, and not antivirus?Have you got a antivirus programe on your computer?

I'd try the complete scan in 'safe mode'.

Not sure what operating system (OS) you're using, but if you google safe mode in relation to what your OS is (Vista/XP/Win 7/Win 8), then that should put you on the right tracks in advising how to access safe mode.

tullie is correct that MBAM is not antivirus software. If I were you, I'd do a full virus scan, and then MBAM scan; both in safe mode.

Hi In most of the cases the problem occurs only because of the Drivers, so first update your Windows Operating System Drivers. for more info you can refer the Below article about windows Blue Screen error
