bit locker in windows 7

Has anyone ever used BitLocker Drive Encryption in windows 7?

if so did you keep it or disable it, how did you find using it.

I used it in Vista and dumped it after about a week. It was a pain to set up, made the boot up slightly slower and did not always respond to the passphrase requiring the 48 character code to be entered.

However it seems it has been improved in W7 click here

For my needs Truecrypt is still a better alternative.
