antivirus -vista

I am thinking about getting laptop from pc world.Advent number £399-anyway can i get antivirus free from net that is any good with vista ie AVG cause dont want to buy norton

Well you will only be exposed for a very limited time and the site I linked to is safe. If you are concerned try to download it with another computer and burn it to a CD for loading offline.

Installation usually requires online registation and updating of the virus definitions anyway so if it was me I would take the very small risk.

If you have PC advisor DVD, AVG is on there, you could load that copy before you connect to the Internet
