AluSchedulerSvc.exe - APPCRASH - Vista problem

I'm having problems with Vista - possibly due to Norton software. Norton updated yesterday and the problems started.

Everytime the computer starts within a couple of minutes I get a black screen with obscured blue text then the PC reboots itself.

I can get it started in safe mode but this will not allow me to uninstall Norton and possibly get rid of the problem.

Everytime I try to use the restore function nothing happens - it just loads for a second then disappears.

I have tried everything I can think of and it has not worked. Any suggestions???

Perhaps, stop Norton starting in safe mode using this click here

Then Norton has its own uninstaller from the Symantec web site.

Thanks for your help. I've tried the sugggestion but I'm still getting the same issue with Norton disabled on startup.

Any further ideas?
