32/64 Bit (again!)

Recently bought a new laptop with 64 bit installed.

However I find that most of the software I'm transferring won't work in 64.

I have retail 32 bit versions. Can I install a 32 bit version on my new laptop, using the the OEM keycode?

I know all the arguments about about the advantages of 64 over 32, but I just want to standardise until more 64 bit software is available.

'I know all the arguments about about the advantages of 64 over 32' - there are virtually none really as most of the software is still trying to play catch-up.

For the ones that are not working, you could try installing & running them in Compatibility Mode for previous OSes click here.

For the ones that you could get working in 64-bit, please consider adding them to gengiscant's thread to help others: 'Stuff thats works with Windows 7 64 bit' click here. G
