Yet again seems someone wasn't doing their job properly click here and click here Maybe a case for a hard stand and admit no more Pakistani students to UK due to abuse of the system? Seems the answer to me.

""New rules requiring colleges to be approved by the Government before they can bring students in were brought in last month. All foreign students now need to have a place on a course with a registered institution before they can come to Britain. But under the previous regime, which applies to foreign students currently in Britain, fewer checks were carried out.

Phil Woolas, Immigration Minister, admitted fake colleges were the “biggest loophole” in the immigration system when he introduced the new visa rules. ""

It appears a little something has been done to ensure only genuine students in the future but there does seem to be room for more checks to be made especially for those 'fake colleges'

What a simplistic and naive point of view.

Should only be allowed if they have a sponsor and financial backing, should be required to live on campus or approved accommodation, and not to wander the country side, when they should be doing the work.

Simplistic is often the obvious overlooked answer! Naive, I don't think so. This gives a good overview of the issues and scale of the problem click here
