I got several of these yesterday and a couple this morning. Funny really, as I'd just come back from seeing a Financial advisor at the bank.

Since The IRS would certainly write to you with (as you correctly point out) reams of paperwork, booklets, debit slips etc. This one really is lame, but those of us here are in the know....The elderly can often be trapped and panic about this type of rather obvious scam.

Must say, I have not received it, but give it time.
