Got SKY Telly now and enjoying it. (Apart from the endless adverts)
But they do show some rubbish ay?

"Rescue Mediums"
Gets my vote.

I gave up on watching tv a long while back.

the adverts on sky channels are getting worse they last longer and getting more frequent spoiling the programes, also getting louder in volume.

Thats the reason you record the sky programs so you can skip the adverts.

Or just put it onto live pause make a cup of tea then watch the programme after it's started.

on my mates TV- as it is on every time I visit.
And it simply confirms my conviction not to Bovver.
Thank goodness he has the decency to turn it off once we are settled.

Wouldn't touch Sky - Freeview has plenty enough channels, and if there's anything on Sky only that I want to watch I can either pop round to the inlaws or buy the whole series on DVD for much less than a month's subscription...

Oh - it's you fault is it?
I thought it was just rubbish on my TV.

  carver 12:51 07 Apr 2011

Some of us do not have the privilege of getting free view just 4 basic channels and that only happens if it's not raining or snowing. So we have no alternative but to have Sky., so think yourself lucky.

Any way there are some very good programmes on Sky if you only look.

It's not all bad. I got Sky for the football but don't subscribe to all the channels. I like House and the next series of Mad Men will be on Sky Atlantic which also has a few gems such as Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Sopranos.

Gave up watchin TV bout year ago, save myself £145 a year and dont miss it one bit. Can get 30 english channeals to watch online if want to for free, and there is always BBC iplayer ect. Also can download and watch all the american series that are shown on Sky weeks before shown over here.

You still need a TV License to watch or record TV on your computer.
