Although tragic for the solicitor why was this solicitor allowed to work for the Metropolitan Police, while being drunk and driving.

And exactly how were they supposed to know she was drunk and driving before hand.

Unlike you the police have not got the benefit of ESP - get a grip man!

Like all establishments, they have 'at risk' employees, and the police are no different to anywhere else.

Try visiting the bars at the Houses of Parliament, after a session ;o(

There are other fora on the net who would appreciate your rants against the police, we don't, so please stop inflicting them on us...

If you had bothered to read your own link you would have seen she wasn't working for the Police whilst being drunk and driving, she was returning from a Holiday in Cornwall.

As you should well know, all 'police surgeon's are retained' as are police officer's, whether on duty or not.

. . . who is a regular drink driver.

On the rare occasions he has been stopped he has pulled a few strings.

Yes, I feel a duty to report him and get him off the roads, but he's so well respected with friends in high places I'm sure I'd be ignored.

I know another solicitor who is a teetotaller.
