Windows Vista virus already?

I can't believe this news on the PCA.

I know its a new operating system, but I can understand why the writers have enabled that tool by default, it sounds a wonderful application, but should only be enabled by those who know what they are doing.

BASH in Linux is an incredibly powerful tool, if the Windows Monad tool is similar I shudder to think of the untold havoc it would cause if left open, it's tantamount to me running my Linux in root all the time while I'm on the Internet, I would be asking for trouble.

If you
click here you'll be able to read the latest on this story. It seems that the panic is over - for now.

Thanks for that, I like the way you say "for now" do I detect a touch of cynicism there? To be fair everyone will be trying to attack it because its a new system and because they can, It'll be interesting to see how it stands up. Its just a pity they are dropping the application, all they had to do was to restrict its use.
