Personally I think referees have a very hard job with little appreciation. I would not want to be one. ;o)

If you are referring to people who step up to the plate and open the lid on immoral or illegal behaviour or practices in a particular industry or company, the answer is most certianly yes. It should be rewarded somehow.

I think it depends on what the issue is. The reward! well you should be prepared to be looking for a new job if it is a employment issue
