Mine is an angel I made in infant school, 50 odd years ago.

I'm not going into the attic at this time of night but I think I may be able to beat that when I do get up there. My deccy's will be going up about the 23rd of December and coming down about the 27th. Bah! Humbug...

Sorry, sorry Christmas decoration! A length of those paper strips that you gummed, threaded through and made chains from when you were in Infants - can't use them because they are so frail but I won't throw them away!!

A little Santa and Reindeer, came off a Xmas cake around 1952, so about 55-56 years old, and has been put on the tree every year since without fail.

You can still get the gummed paper strips in Tesco if you want to make some new ones!

We have some very old glass ornaments where the hanger-upper is where the glass has been stretched into a hook. The next oldest orna, ent is me, according to she who must be obeyed.

Oops, sorry!

For the cake, a robin we bought for our first Christmas cake, in '61.

Decoration, a snowman made from a toilet roll centre and cotton wool, made by our son in about 67.

laurie53. Ah! Isn't that nice? I bet he's embarrassed when he sees it there, every year.
