What's your favourite video website?

Many thanks to all those who recommended forums for this month's Readers' Sites. It was an even more varied assortment than usual, but Snec won the day with his recommendation of Auran's Trainz Forum (tinyurl.com/trainzforum). Congratulations to Snec, who wins a copy of Magix Rescue Your Videotapes.

For our next topic, we're looking at video websites. Which sites serve up the best video content, and what makes them particularly attractive? Do you look for the widest variety of clips, or the best quality? We're looking for big names and obscure sites alike, so add your recommendations, and why you'd recommend them, to this thread or email them to [email protected] to be in with a chance to win our all-new Readers Sites prize.

Thanks
David Price

For me its Xfires video site,

Not only do you get to see what future games are going to be released but more importantly you get to see how retail games actually play,

Also as the user base of this site is mostly gamers you will get honest opinions on how a game plays and be able to see the game in action from the gamers view point rather than a promotional video made by the game creators which they always hype up.

Plus you get to see some awesome playing skills in action.

When I was in America I was very impressed with Hulu... has all the big US shows ready for streaming. Spent a night watching the latest Sarah Connor Terminator Chronicles.

It's a bit like iPlayer but with a short ad at the start of each show. Shame you can't watch it in the UK.

This is a great one for FPS games, beautifully designed and attractive to look at. It has everything you need in one place, the latest patches, mods, maps, cheats etc. Well worth a look if you love your FPS's.
