There are zillions of them.....

I agree that forums should stay clear.

Oh okay ... thought it was pretty harmless myself...

Correct me but when I read the thread, there was material of "religious beliefs" within. It was right for the FE to remove it due to the fact it states clearly in the Forum Rules.

"We reserve the right to remove your forum contributions without prior reference you if, in our opinion the content is inappropriate. The use of obscene or offensive language, sexual references, and expressions of racial, RELIGIOUS OR CULTURAL INTOLERANCES".

Do people not think when posting or does this just show they didn't read the forum rules when becoming a member?

Both I suspect.

F.E. has allowed new freedoms within the forum but the forum rules and etiquette are still there to be followed and obeyed;

"A little light relief" or words to that effect are frankly the kiss of death as far as we're concerned. Over the years I have learnt that the best thing to do with them is stop them.

Why? Because someone always, without fail, goes just that little bit over the invisible line. It's a pity, but it's a self-fulfilling prophesy.
