I see that BBC2 is transmitting 9¼ hrs of sport today; athletics and golf.

I accept there is a case for having sport on the BBC, but sure 9¼ hrs in one day is somewhat over the top.

Since when was golf a "sport"?

An excellent way to spoil a good walk, perhaps, but certainly not sport.

Its the school holidays i havent seen a kids movie anywhere on the BBC, seems that they got cbbc x2 and bbc 2 for the am,

and bbc 1 for the pm, it doesn't justify showing the same junk day in day out specially during the term breaks. Have the BBC lost all hope for our children, are they trying to get us to buy sky and cable channels are they getting some kind of commission to behave like this,

I remember back in my day the would show good quality films cartoons but now its repeat repeat and more repeat. BBC you should be ashamed of yourselves.

With all the channels the BBC has today it is long overdue that it had a channel devoted to sport so that those that liked it could watch it and those that didn't could avoid it by watching the other channels

If the BBC pays to show a particular event what sense does it make to show only part of it as opposed to showing the whole thing?
